    Arianna Carter, Small Animal Manager

    Arianna Carter was born and raised in Sierra Vista, AZ, and has been part of the veterinary field for six years. She finds the most joy in her work by helping people who care deeply for their pets, and she is always striving to grow and become a better version of herself every day.

    At home, Arianna’s three black cats—Deimos, Eris, and Ganymede—keep her on her toes with their unique personalities. In her downtime, you can find Arianna immersed in her favorite hobbies, which include video games, yoga, writing, reading, and board games. She loves a good challenge, whether it’s conquering a new game or perfecting her next big idea.

    Michelle Watt, Inventory & Equipment Lead, Certified Veterinary Technician, Small Animal Technician

    Michelle was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She graduated from Pima Community College with an Associates of Applied Science – Veterinary Technology degree. Michelle’s passion for animals has increased since she has been with Jackpot, with a special passion for small animal dentistry. She is also active in education, volunteering and working with Pima’s program often. Michelle has several pets, including two dogs, two cats and a 2000-gallon pond full of fish. Her hobbies consist of photography, nature and history exploration, and playing games.

    Kristy Hill, Lead Reception, Small Animal Technician

    Kristy is originally from San Diego, California, but has been living in Tucson for some time. Kristy started her career as a Veterinary Technician back in 1995 and is proud to have learned skills from some wonderful Veterinarians and Technicians throughout the years.

    Kristy is always trying to continue to educate herself about Veterinary Medicine and is happy to continue on in her career as an integral part of the Jackpot team. If she is not at work, you can most likely find Kristy cruising the lake with her dog Momo!

    Danni Santa Cruz, Small Animal Technician Lead

    Danni Santa Cruz was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, and brings over a decade of experience to her role as Lead Technician at Jackpot Veterinary Center.

    Danni enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Charlie and Akudama. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, writing stories, music, hiking, and diving into imaginative adventures with Dungeons & Dragons. Did you know? Danni has a twin! Danni’s commitment to her team and patients, paired with her passion for learning and creativity, makes her a valued member of the Jackpot family.

    Dani Boyer, Small Animal Technician Lead

    Born and raised in Tucson, Dani has dedicated 15 years to the veterinary field, bringing experience, leadership, and a passion for top-quality patient care. As a lead tech, she wears many hats—managing clinical tasks, mentoring staff, and ensuring the entire team runs smoothly to support both pets and their people.

    For Dani, the most rewarding part of her job is helping animals and their loved ones during life’s toughest moments, providing both expert care and heartfelt compassion. She takes pride in teaching and guiding newer staff, watching them grow and flourish in their careers.

    Outside the clinic, Dani stays busy with her many pets, competing with her horses, and embracing creativity through art and tattoo collecting.

    Brianna Manzanedo, AVA, Safety & OSHA Lead, Small Animal Technician

    Brianna was born and raised in Tucson AZ. She has what she calls “the zoo of minis”. She has chinchillas, dogs, bunnies, a desert tortoise, and fish. She also has family in New York who she visits as often as she can. She loves the outdoors and grew up hunting, fishing and riding quads. Brianna is also a huge basketball fan. She completed her veterinary assistant program at Pima college and has loved working with animals ever since.

    Alex Smith-Amaya, Veterinary Technician

    Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Alex starts each day bright and early, making sure everything is prepped for incoming patients, from setting up kennels and surgical areas to ensuring computers and medical equipment are running smoothly. He also takes time to study past and ongoing cases with the doctor on shift, preparing for both Vet school and his future career in veterinary medicine.

    Alex has been in the veterinary field for about two years, and his passion lies in surgery—especially orthopedic procedures. His favorite part of the job? Scrubbing in and assisting in surgery whenever possible! When he’s not at the clinic, Alex enjoys baseball, snowboarding, watching films, playing video games, and exploring breweries.

    A first-year Veterinary student at the UofA College of Veterinary Medicine, Alex brings both dedication and curiosity to his work. He played college baseball for a couple of years, comes from a proud military family, and his older brother is a Marine Corps officer. As an Afro-Latino, Alex takes pride in both of his cultures and is always striving to grow in his field.

  • Ashley Morales, Receptionist

    Originally from Douglas, AZ, Ashley has been in the veterinary field for four years, making every client and pet feel welcome the moment they walk through the door.

    Her day starts early, helping get the clinic up and running, answering phone calls, checking in patients, and assisting clients in person and over the phone. For Ashley, the best part of her job is knowing she’s helped make someone’s day a little better—especially in stressful situations. Of course, seeing all the adorable pets is a bonus!

    Ashley is passionate about helping others, family, and animals, and at home, she has a full house with four dogs and two red-eared sliders. In her free time, she loves diving into creative projects and testing out the latest viral baking or cooking trends.

  • Hunter Germain, Receptionist

    From Holbrook, AZ, Hunter has been in the veterinary field for just over a year and is always ready to answer calls, schedule appointments, fill medications, and assist clients with whatever they need.

    Hunter’s biggest passion? Horses—hands down! When not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Hunter training horses, working with leather, or spending time with their own herd of animals, which includes four dogs, a cat, two rats, two horses, and even a donkey!
