Christy Watson, Inventory Manager
Originally from Connecticut (though she’s lived just about everywhere thanks to a life of travel nursing), Christy brings a wealth of experience to our clinic. With 25 years in human medicine and the past 5 years dedicated to veterinary care, she plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping everything running smoothly.
As our Inventory Manager, Christy’s days are spent diving into stockrooms, checking safety protocols, organizing supplies, and ensuring the numbers add up—all so our veterinarians and team can focus on providing top-notch care. Her favorite part of the job? Supporting the staff in any way she can.
Christy is endlessly curious and passionate about learning something new every day. Outside of work, you’ll find her reading, binge-streaming, puzzling, or trying (with determination!) to coax something to grow in her garden. She shares her home with Claus Von Wiggle Butt, her not-so-mini Aussie, and Marco Pollo, a playful orange-and-white tabby.
Always ready to lend a hand, Christy’s dedication shines through in everything she does—both in and out of the clinic.
Erika Garcia, Operational Assurance Coordinator
Erika grew up in the High Desert of Southern California, nurturing a lifelong love for animals. She holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Leadership and brings over a decade of experience as a coordinator, with more than two years specifically in veterinary medicine.
Passionate about operations, Erika was drawn to the Jackpot Team by the job's alignment with her skills and the practice's commitment to clients and community. At Jackpot, Erika manages advertising, social media and content creation, community outreach, employee incentives, client education, and writes our monthly newsletter. She also assists with Desert Equine Education Group.
At home, she shares her life with her husband (Chris) and three year old daughter (Aria), and three cats (Panda, Irie, and Lily). Erika enjoys weightlifting, baking, singing, and crafting with her daughter.
Cody Hearn, Bookkeeper
A Tucson native, Cody has been working in the veterinary field for about 2.5 years, ensuring that bills are paid, supplies are stocked, and payroll runs smoothly. While numbers are his specialty, he loves that his job comes with fantastic coworkers and plenty of adorable animal interactions as a bonus!
Cody is passionate about animals and always happy to lend a helping hand when needed. At home, he’s got quite the furry family—three cats and five dogs keep life exciting! When he’s not crunching numbers, he enjoys hiking, video games, cooking, and spending time with his pets. Fun fact: Cody went to culinary school for baking and has 10 years of food service experience! So whether it’s balancing the books or baking up something delicious, Cody knows how to get the job done.
