Kelsey Thoms, Large Animal Technician
Kelsey is a licensed veterinary technician from Reno Nevada. She moved out to Tucson, Arizona in May of 2023. She grew up around horses and started riding when she was about 8 years old. Her love for horses inspired her love for veterinary medicine and she decided to go follow that path. Her main interests include neonates, critical care, and anesthesia. She has devoted her time and training to becoming an anesthesia technician and loves learning about the many different aspects of that field. She is most passionate about the patients and making sure they are always cared for to the best level. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog Bentley, fishing, and riding her horse Griz. She competes in ranch sorting and is also starting to do some breakaway roping.

Brittany Gouger, Large Animal Technician
Brittany grew up in Sierra Vista, Arizona and moved to Tucson in 2011 to attend Pima Community College on a cross country country scholarship. She went on to continue her education at Pima Medical Institute. She started at Jackpot Veterinary Center in February of 2018. In her free time she enjoys all of her adventures with her family and friends, 5 dogs and 2 horses.

Jeanette Felix, Large Animal Technician
Jeanette was born and raised in Tucson and is proud to call herself a true animal lover at heart. She always knew she wanted to work with animals and loves to interact with clients and their horses. When she isn’t caring for clients and animals at Jackpot, she likes to hang out with friends, team rope, breakaway rope and occasionally head to the ranch with her husband.

Brianna Young, Large Animal Technician
Brianna was born and raised in Patagonia, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 2024 with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. She plans on attending Veterinary school in the fall of 2025. Some of her hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, going to barrel races, and overall enjoying her horses.

Dani Robbins, Large Animal Technician
Dani grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and is currently completing his undergraduate studies in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Arizona. From an early age, he knew that a career in medicine was his calling, but it wasn’t until high school that he discovered his passion for veterinary medicine. His love for large animals and dedication to their care blossomed through volunteering at horse ranches, rescues, and sanctuaries. Dani plans to apply to veterinary school and aspires to operate his own practice in the future. Outside of his studies, he enjoys spending time with friends, exercising, working on cars, and volunteering with animals.

Victoria Moreno, Large Animal Technician
Victoria was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelors degree in wildlife conservation. She has always loved animals and started working at Jackpot Veterinary Center in March of 2023. When she isn’t working, Victoria likes to spend time with her friends and family, traveling, and never answering her phone.

Taylor Ellison, Maintenance Technician
A Tucson native, Taylor Ellison is a Veterinary Technology student at Pima Community College. With a background in construction and ranch work, Taylor’s love for horses and dogs led her to pursue a career in sports medicine and laminitis.
Taylor joined Jackpot Veterinary Center for its equine facility and is passionate about making a positive impact on animals and people. At home, Taylor cares for three dogs—Remi, Robert, and Pickles—and two horses, Bowie and Franklin. Outside of work, She enjoys horse training and working on cars and trucks.

Annie Allen, Maintenance Technician
Born in Long Beach, CA, and raised in Tucson, AZ, Annie is a sophomore at the University of Arizona, pursuing a degree in Animal Science with plans for veterinary school. Growing up, her family owned a horse, with whom she spent most of her time. Getting to know all the horses at the boarding facility where she grew up sparked her interest in equine veterinary science.
Annie first connected with Jackpot in high school through ride-alongs and became more involved in college. Now, she’s thrilled to officially join the team, inspired by the exceptional care Jackpot provided for her horse. Though she’s had many dogs, her heart belongs to horses.
Fun fact: Annie is a triplet, which means she’s always been kept on her toes!
